A fusion of art, nature, and cultural symbolism. This unique piece draws inspiration from the death's-head hawk moth, known for the skull-shaped pattern on its thorax. This design pays homage to Dalí and is deeply rooted in the rich symbolism portrayed in the film "The Silence of the Lambs", as a surrealism fan and admirer of the film, creating this interpretation was an exciting journey.
The pendant features intricate detailing, with the moth's skull formed from human bodies and a lamb head adorned with Baroque-decorated wings, body wrapped in Aeolus’ wave forms. This artistic choice emphasises the theme of transformation and the fleeting nature of life. We might evolve into something very different from our beginnings. The caterpillar of the death head hawk moth is strikingly vibrant, a neon-coloured bomb with geometric patterns, embodying a transformation from the pop punk phase of its life to a death metal aesthetic. This resonates personally with the maker, who also started with a love for pop punk as a teenager and now has a passion for death metal.

EVERYDAY WEAR
To preserve the polish of your jewellery, remove your jewellery when cleaning, bathing and swimming, and always keep away from any source of heat.
Avoid direct contact with water and chemical products. Household cleaning products, bleach, make-up, soap, perfume and hair-spray may dull the finish of your jewellery and cause discolouration or oxidation of the metal.
Please handle your jewellery with
care and avoid collision with hard surfaces, as it could change and damage the shape of the jewellery.
Kindly note that layering a ring
with another ring can cause wear and tear.
Silver might oxidise over time. To avoid this as much as possible, gently wipe your jewellery clean with a soft cloth after each wear to remove any dirt or oils that accumulate during wearing.
STORING YOUR JEWELLERY
We commend that you store your jewellery individually in its Aeolus Studio pouch for safekeeping. This
also helps against the jewellery being exposure to direct sunlight.
CLEANING YOUR JEWELLERY
Clean your jewellery with warm water and detergent free soap, or with a professional cleaning kit. Furthermore, we recommend your jewellery to be cleaned by a professional jeweller once a year to have it last longer.
